Returning to Birdland for the FIFTEENTH Consecutive Year

Since 2010, “A Swinging Birdland Christmas” has been a wildly successful extravaganza celebrating the holidays on the stage of the historic music room. 

This year, “A Swinging Birdland Christmas,” starring Birdland regulars Klea Blackhurst, Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch, will perform a limited engagement of five performances, Sunday through Wednesday, December 22 - 25.  Show times are listed below.

The trio has released a Deluxe Edition of their popular cd, “Christmas at Birdland,” produced by Wayne Haun on the Club44 Records label.

In the tradition of beloved seasonal specials, Blackhurst, Caruso and Stritch will perform swinging arrangements of “Christmas Waltz,” Kay Thompson’s “Holiday Season,” “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” “Snow,” and “It Happened In Sun Valley,” among other favorites.  The singers, as always, will be joined by Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums.
