Description

Birdland Theater is pleased to announce that Jenna Esposito will headline on Thursday, May 2 at 8:30pm to celebrate some of the biggest Italian-American musical icons, including Connie Francis, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Jerry Vale, Lou Monte, and more.

Jenna has headlined at major NYC nightclubs including Birdland and Feinstein’s/54 Below, as well as renowned theatres, nightclubs, and festivals across the country, and she has shared the stage with such luminaries as Liza Minnelli, Chita Rivera, Lucie Arnaz, Larry Gatlin, Marilyn Maye, and Patrizio Buanne.  Dubbed “the voice of Little Italy,” Jenna has performed many shows in Manhattan’s historic Little Italy, including 13 consecutive years as the closing night act at the famed Feast of San Gennaro, and has also made numerous appearances in Manhattan’s Columbus Day Parade.  Jenna was also recently named as a world finalist in the Sanremo Senior competition, held at the famous Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, Italy.  Her various shows have all received critical acclaim, and she is in high demand to sing the National Anthem and the Italian National Anthem at various events in the tri-state area.

In May, 2021, Jenna released her fourth CD, More Amore: Songs From The Great Italian-American Songbook, which, like her previous album, That’s Amore, features songs that have their origins in Italy, songs that were made famous by Italian-Americans, or both!  In November, 2009, Jenna released her second CD, To Connie…Love, Jenna.  The CD is a live recording of Jenna’s Connie Francis tribute show, which was recorded during her sold-out 2009 run of the show at The Metropolitan Room in New York City.  13 Men…and Me!
