Errico, who has spent the last decade re-imagining Sondheim in her acclaimed concert series and albums, now brings that same lyric precision and emotional insight to the classic love songs of Sammy Fain, Rodgers & Hart, Frank Loesser and Irving Berlin — finding lost treasures of the popular song book and giving them her smart, contemporary treatment -- treating Sammy Fain as though he were Stephen Sondheim.
