The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that Broadway's Sally Mayes will team with cabaret's Jeff Harnar in a new duo concert, "Double Take." The one-night-only event will take place on Monday, November 9 at 7pm at Birdland, 315 West 44 Street in Manhattan.

Tony Award Nominee Sally Mayes and Award winner Jeff Harnar join forces in "Double Take: Sally Mayes & Jeff Harnar At The Same Time." See what happens when you cross saucy with dapper, screwball with smooth, and jazz with a Cole Porter twist. Backing Sally & Jeff will be Musical Director Alex Rybeck conducting the Double Take Trio. Featured will be songs by Paul Simon, Mary Rodgers, Comden & Green, Harold Arlen and Ann Hampton Callaway including "Feelin' Groovy," "Just in Time," "That's All," and more.

Sally Mayes made her Broadway debut in Cy Coleman's Welcome To The Club. Her performance won critical praise along with a Theater World Award and Outer Critics Circle nomination as one of Broadway's Outstanding Newcomers. On Broadway, Sally is perhaps best known for her performance in the Roundabout Theater revival of She Loves Me, for which she won Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations. Sally also appeared as Aunt Corene in Urban Cowboy (Drama Desk nomination), and drew raves as Mae West in the National Tour of Dirty Blonde, and also appeared in the Broadway revival of Steel Magnolias. She has also starred in several Off-Broadway productions including Closer Than Ever (Outer Critics Circle nomination), Das Barbecu, and Pete n' Keely (Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Musical), Play It Cool, Good Ol' Girls, and The Best Is Yet To Come. Film and television credits include CITY HALL and BYE BYE BIRDIE, LAW AND ORDER, CRIMINAL INTENT, SEX AND THE CITY, and THE JOB. Sally also appears on countless cast recordings including, CLOSER THAN EVER, SHE LOVES ME, DAS BARBECUE, BYE BYE BIRDIE, LOST IN BOSTON, UNSUNG MUSICALS, UNSUNG SONDHEIM, NIGHT OF THE HUNTER, to mention a few. Sally has five solo albums, THE DOROTHY FIELDS SONGBOOK, OUR PRIVATE WORLD, THE COMDEN AND GREEN SONGBOOK, THE STORY HOUR, BOYS AND GIRLS LIKE YOU AND ME, and VALENTINE. Her rare and much anticipated nightclub appearances have garnered her rave reviews from coast to coast, and she has been nominated for twelve Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) awards, and has won two Back Stage BISTRO awards for excellence in cabaret and recording.

JEFF HARNAR is the winner of the 2014 BroadwayWorld,com Cabaret Award for Male Vocalist and 2012 Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award. Currently he can be seen with KT Sullivan in their critically-acclaimed Stephen Sondheim musical collage "Another Hundred People" at The Laurie Beechman Theatre. The show was taped in October for the PBS series "American Songbook at NJPAC." Carnegie Hall appearances include both the Cole Porter and Noel Coward Centennial Galas. In London, Jeff was Artistic Director and Host of three seasons of "The American Songbook in London" at The Jermyn Street Theatre and Pizza on The Park. In March Jeff will return to London for his third engagement at The Crazy Coqs. Television credits include his "1959 Broadway Songbook" (PBS) and "Remember: Songs of The Holidays" with KT Sullivan (PBS). Jeff tours with Shauna Hicks in their symphony pops concert "I Got Rhythm: Mickey & Judy's Hollywood." He has released four solo CDs, and is the winner of 3 MAC Awards and 3 Back Stage Bistro Awards.
