The Broadway at Birdland concert series is thrilled to announce that multi-Grammy and Tony Award-nominated composer/producer Frank Wildhorn will be joined by Tony Award-nominated singer/actress Keala Settle (currently starring in Waitress) in “Keala Settle & Frank Wildhorn: For The First Time LIVE” on Monday, August 22 at 7pm.

The concert will feature Settle on vocals and Wildhorn at the piano. It will be Keala’s solo debut as a concert artist in New York, singing brand new original songs Wildhorn has written for her, along with highlights from Wildhorn’s pop/jazz/theatre catalogue.

Frank quote:
I’ve always cherished my long time special relationship with Birdland. We have done countless shows over the years with such incredible musicians, but this is the first time we have devoted an entire evening to one artist. Keala is such a soulful, beautiful, powerful force of nature and she so deserves a show like this. You don’t want to miss this!

Keala quote:
One of the very first songs I ever sang in public was a Frank Wildhorn song, and I’ve been a huge fan of his work ever since. To have been gifted this opportunity to collaborate with him as a solo artists is beyond a dream come true. Now I will get to show other people what I see in his music and how truly powerful it can be.
