Singing the Great Ladies of the Glamorous Nightclub Era
Monday, February 19 at 7pm

The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to announce that singer/actress Linda Purl will team with female jazz orchestra DIVA "Singing the Great Ladies of the Glamorous Nightclub Era." The one-night-only event will take place on Monday, February 18 at 7pm.

Acclaimed all female jazz orchestra DIVA together with Linda Purl, under the Musical Direction of Tedd Firth salute the great women singing stars of the 1940s and '50s–from Ella Fitzgerald to Judy Garland to Rosemary Clooney–as they reign over the swanky, sexy supper clubs of the era. The concert will include sultry ballads and hot Latin jazz arrangements of standards like, "S'Wonderful," "It's Alright With Me" and "Caravan," and conjure a nighttime world where the surroundings are posh, the drinks are flowing and nobody goes to bed before three!

Linda currently has a recurring role on the new television series "The Oath" with Sean Bean and Ryan Kwanten. Recent recurring TV roles: Homeland, (Elizabeth Gaines); True Blood, (Barbara Pelt); The Office, (Helene Beasley). Designated Survivor, Code Black (Guest Star).
