Anais Reno
Anaïs Reno is a 15-year-old singer, songwriter, who attends LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts, as a drama major. She began performing at the age of 8, and quickly was recognized as a unique talent, with an unusually soulful voice. As a recipient of the Recanati-Kaplan Scholarship Program at the 92nd Street Y, Anaïs studies voice with Sarah Tolar and piano with Peter Yarin. Her passion is the Great American Songbook, jazz and blues.

At age 9, Anaïs’ composition was selected to be performed by the NY Philharmonic. In David Geffen Hall. Later compositions were performed at Symphony Space, by the Tomai Sand Jack String Quartets, and finally she sang her composition, “for Ayham “, in David Geffen Hall.

At age 12, Anaïs won the Forte International Competition’s highest Platinum Award, and the Most Expressive Artist Award, amongst all instruments and categories, up to age 35. In July of 2018, she was the youngest participant in the Michael Feinstein’s Songbook Academy competition, in Indiana, where she placed 2nd and was recently announced as one of the winners in the Young Arts Competition.

Anaïs has had two solo shows at Feinstein’s 54 Below, and will have her 3rd solo show in April 2019, with Billy Stritch, She has appeared as a soloist in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, David Geffen Hall, and the Triad Theater, among others.

As a stage performer, she was part of the solo cast in Xanadu, Once On This Island, The AristoCats, Smokey Joe’s Café and Into The Woods, and 13.

Anaïs’ upcoming performances include Feinstein’s 54 Below, Weill Recital Hall, The 92nd Street Y, and a performance in Houston, TX.
