The Birdland Jazz Party featuring Nancy Harms

Born and raised in Minnesota, Harms has relocated to New York City, where she made her jazz club debut in 2010 to a packed house in the Village’s THE BAR NEXT DOOR. After returning to the USA from a highly-successful appearance at The SORTLAND JAZZ FESTIVAL in Norway, Nancy later appeared at The ROCKWOOD MUSIC HALL in NYC, BOB EGAN’S NEW HOPE in New Hope, PA., and a series of performances with trombone legend WYCLIFFE GORDON, with whom she recently appeared at New York City’s KITANO over the March 18th - 19th weekend. Recently returning from a series of concerts and workshop appearances in Torino, Italy, additional upcoming shows for Nancy this coming spring and early summer will include performances at New York City’s BAR NEXT DOOR, CORNELIA ST. CAFE, ZINC BAR , SMALLS JAZZ CLUB, and further appearances & recording sessions with Wycliffe Gordon. Later this year, Nancy will be a regularly featured contributor to the upcoming new public radio series “CERTAIN STANDARDS”.
