On the heels of winning the Alec Baldwin Fellowship for his music & lyrics on ‘Til Death Do Us Part, and recording the International Studio Cast Recording of The Concrete Jungle with Nick Lloyd Webber and James D. Reid in London, award winning composer/writer Bobby Cronin returns to the Broadway at Birdland concert series with a night of all new material interpreted by some of today's top Broadway and West End performers. This one-night event will be produced by Karie Koppel, with orchestrations by Michael Haslam and Drew Overcash. Musical Direction by William Demaniow, Direction by Johanna Pinzler.
Bobby Cronin is an award-winning composer/writer. Musical Welcome To My Life with co-bookwriter Alicia Dempster is under a Broadway option. He and book writer Allen Mogol were recently awarded The Alec Baldwin Fellowship in NYC for their musical ‘Til Death Do Us Part. He is the first American commissioned to pen an original musical called The Concrete Jungle for London’s esteemed ArtsEd School (Andrew Lloyd Webber, President), which also just received an International Cast Studio Recording produced by Burlington Productions, Nick Lloyd Webber & James D. Reid, to be released in late 2012. Daybreak (addional material by Brett Teresa; 2011 New Jersey Playwrights Contest winner) premiered in NJ & London’s Tristan Bates Theatre, June 2012. He also created music and songs for the webseries “Thank You, Next” (LAWebFest Award, Best Original Song). He has performed his material at Lincoln Center Songbook Series, Joe's Pub, Birdland, Symphony Space, and The Players Theatre in London. His recording, "Reach The Sky: Live at The Beechman" is available on iTunes. Yale graduate, Member of ASCAP, Dramatists Guild.
