Suede “In A Dangerous Mood”
Suede âIn A Dangerous Moodâ
The Broadway at Birdland concert series is proud to present pop/jazz/blues phenomenon Suede in concert for for one night only on Monday, September 10 at 7pm. The show, titled 'A Dangerous Mood' will also feature Tomoko Ohno on piano, Bill Moring on bass, and Tim Horner on drums.

Suede will be performing songs from her four award-winning CDs and DVDs; everything from classics like "Teach Me Tonight,” "Never Never Land," and "Defying Gravity" to originals composed for her by contemporary writers Shirley Eickhard and John Bucchino. Pop/Jazz/Blues artist Suede plays piano, trumpet and guitar but her voice is her first instrument, and entertaining is clearly her first love. To celebrate her 25th anniversary as an independent artist on her own label, Easily Suede Music, Suede realized a lifelong dream of recording with her own big band. "Dangerous Mood" was recorded at the Bennett Studios and released to rave reviews. Her recording of Roxanna Ward’s "Remember Who You Are" was featured on "The Young and The Restless." Her recording of the poignant "Emily Remembers," also from her CD "On the Day We Met," was named #1 Song of the Year on WJZW radio in Washington, DC, and has garnered national radio airplay as well as two Out Music Awards. Suede is heard regularly on NPR. Her DVD "Suede, Live at Scullers Jazz Club" (Boston) has aired on 52 PBS stations. Always touring nationally and internationally, with trio all the way up to her 12-piece 'Dangerous Big Band,' she plays the best rooms - from The Kennedy Center to LA's Ford Amphitheatre; San Francisco's Rrazz Room to New York's Town Hall; Scottsdale's Center for the Arts to Cincinnati's Aronoff Center; Denver's Mercury Cafe to St. Louis' Sheldon Hall – and is THRILLED to be making her Birdland debut.
